J. Scott Carr – President & CEO
Scott Carr drives the company's strategy and leads the world-class YottaMark team, drawing on more than two decades of experience delivering brand security, anti-counterfeiting, and large-scale data management products and solutions. Prior to joining YottaMark Scott spent 11 years at Digimarc Corporation, a company he helped found and take public. He was most recently an Executive Vice President responsible for global business development and North American Sales. A frequent speaker, and having testified before the US Senate and the National Counsel of State Legislators, Scott is a noted national expert on secure personal identity solutions. Prior to joining Digimarc in 1996 Scott was VP, Marketing for nCube, a leader in metropolitan class video-on-demand solutions. Prior to nCube Scott held various software engineering and business development positions at computer system, semiconductor, and manufacturing companies. Scott holds more than 20 US patents on digital watermarking and its applications. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Oregon State University, and an executive MBA from the Stanford/AeA program.

Elliott Grant, PhD – Chief Marketing Officer
Elliott Grant is responsible for all aspects of the company's marketing execution, product and solution definition, branding, and user experience. Elliott founded YottaMark with the vision that giving products a unique identity will help defend against counterfeiting, diversion, and fraud, while creating a new channel for brand owners to deliver consumers more information about the products they purchase. Prior to YottaMark, Elliott was VP, Operations for Portola Packaging, a $250M packaging manufacturer where he was responsible for high speed, high volume production lines across six US-based factories. Previously Elliott was an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company where he provided strategic consulting on operations improvement, M&A, and new business development. Elliott holds a Masters degree and a PhD in Engineering from Cambridge University, in the UK.

Paul Gifford – Chief Operating Officer
Paul Gifford is responsible for the execution of our strategy, and as the leader of the company’s operations team he has overall responsibility for managing our finances, developing our products, supporting our customers, and for operating our cloud-based services delivery platform. Paul is a proven leader with over 30 years of experience in growing and developing high technology companies. Prior to joining YottaMark, he was founder and CEO at ProjectDX, a developer of web services platforms for financing and tracking the results of sustainable energy and water programs sponsored by utilities and municipalities. Prior to that, Paul was founder and CEO at venture-backed 4Home, Inc., a developer of online services and premises applications for delivering energy management and assisted living services to the home, that was recently acquired by Motorola Mobility.

Sean Calhoon – VP, Customer Programs
Sean Calhoon is responsible for developing the market-leading products, technologies and service platforms that constitute YottaMark's unit-level brand security and marketing products. Prior to joining YottaMark Sean spent nine years at Digimarc Corporation where he was responsible for leading hardware and software engineering. He was instrumental in delivering a global anti-counterfeiting system; audio and video copyright protection solutions; secure ID and brand protection solutions. Prior to Digimarc Sean was the Director of Engineering for OnLive, a software company specializing in web-based training and customer support, where he released products that achieved an installed base of over 30 million units. Sean has previously held management positions in software engineering for Intel, Mulisoft, and ADP Dealer Services. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with honors in Mathematics from Southern Oregon State College.

William Hoover – VP of Finance and Operations
William (Bill) Hoover leads the company's finance, IT, and customer support functions. With over 20 years of experience in financial management, merger and acquisition, and operations leadership, Bill formerly served as the vice president of finance and operations for Five Across, Inc., a social networking and online community building company, as well as Cyanea Systems Corp., an application management software development company, both which he helped build and subsequently sell to Cisco Systems and IBM Corporation, respectively.   Prior to joining YottaMark, he was the vice president of finance for the San Francisco-based genetic counseling company DNA Direct.  Bill also served as vice president of integration for SelectBuild Construction, Inc., a publicly traded construction services company where he spearheaded an acquisition integration process for nine newly acquired companies and two operational mergers, which resulted in the addition of 9,000 employees and annualized revenue growth from $1B to over $2B.  He started his career in the financial industry at Arthur Andersen and has also held management positions at PlanetRx.com and B2SB Technologies Corp.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree  in business administration from the University of California, Berkeley.  

Randall Freeman – VP, Retail
Randall Freeman is responsible for developing relationships across perishables categories. Randall started his career in the produce industry as the national sales manager for Tanimura & Antle, Inc. With nearly 28 years of experience in the fresh produce and food industries, he was most recently responsible for U.S. sales for IFCO Systems, a leading provider of reusable plastic containers and associated logistics in over 180 countries. Prior to IFCO, he served as the director of sales for Del Monte Foods, Inc., where he started and built a $140M+ business distributing Del Monte products to retail and club stores. Randall also owned and operated a food start-up, which was awarded the global licensing rights to the Sunkist brand to market, sell, and distribute a line of fresh-cut fruit products in the premium cut fruit category throughout North American and Middle Eastern markets. He has served on the board of directors for the Produce Marketing Association, and the Fresh Produce and Floral Council. He holds a bachelor's degree from California State University at San Diego.

Todd Laurence – VP, Latin America
Todd Laurence is responsible for YottaMark's sales operations in Latin America. He brings to YottaMark over 20 years of experience in enterprise software sales, supply chain management, and professional services. Prior to YottaMark, Todd was with i2 Technologies, a provider of advanced supply chain software, where he held a variety of sales leadership roles, including managing sales teams across North America and Europe for the retail and consumer industries business unit. Previously, he served as a director of sales at Vivecon, a pioneering provider of on-demand software solutions to help companies manage risk and uncertainty in their supply chains. Todd began his sales career at Oracle as a global accounts manager, where he sold the first multi-year, managed services, fully hosted enterprise ERP deal in the company's history. He received his MBA with distinction in operations and technology management from The Anderson School of Business at UCLA and a bachelor's degree in economics and international relations from Princeton University.
